We are staying with our friend in Vienna who has organised numerous places for us to go, events to take part in, parties to drink at, the list goes on. We thought Vienna would be a pit stop to relax and unwind, prepare for the Eastern European leg of the trip, catch up with an old friend. Yet here we are going none stop and loving it! Thanks Pablo for showing us Vienna at its best, particularly the 10am market finish to a night out.
Day one saw us picked up by Hans and whisked off to his grandmothers for a traditional Austrian lunch
We visited this stunning castle.....
followed by an afternoon of lazing lake side in Hungry.
I don't even know what this is.... its pretty much the whole leg of a pig. So wrong, yet so right.
Throw in some casual football on a Wednesday night. Curtis actually scored a goal and fell over his own feet about ten times in twenty minutes. The team loved the half time cut oranges provided by Cara.
Lets not go into the hours spent reminiscing about 'ol times and footy favourites - mostly Pablo's inability to pass the sherin.
Pablo scored us tickets to the Mozart Orchestra's Opera housed in a jaw dropping building in the heart of Vienna.
